Apple's App Store doesn't accept the A9Today app, so iPhone and iPad users install via an iOS configuration profile. It's the same mechanism Apple itself uses for enterprise app distribution. The process is safe, takes 90 seconds, and doesn't require an Apple ID.

Before you start: Make sure you're using Safari, not Chrome or another browser. Configuration profiles can only install through Safari on iOS.
  1. Open Safari and visit a9playmy8.com

Type a9playmy8.com into Safari's address bar. You'll land on the official A9Play homepage with the dark orange A9PLAY wordmark and download options.

  2. Tap the iOS / Apple installer

Find the download grid showing Android, iOS / Apple, Huawei, and H5 Web. Tap the iOS / Apple card. Safari will start downloading a small file called A9Today.mobileconfig.

  3. Allow the profile download

iOS will show a prompt: "This website is trying to download a configuration profile. Do you want to allow this?" Tap Allow. The profile is now in your Settings, waiting to be installed.

If you don't see the prompt, check your Settings app — there should be a new entry called Profile Downloaded near the top.

  4. Install the profile

Open Settings. You'll see Profile Downloaded highlighted near the top of the main settings screen. Tap it.

    On the install screen:

    • Tap Install in the top right
    • Enter your iPhone passcode
    • Tap Install again on the warning screen
    • Tap Done when complete
About the warning screen: iOS shows a warning for ALL configuration profiles, even ones from major companies. It's not specific to A9Today and doesn't mean the profile is unsafe.
  5. Open A9Today and log in

Go back to your home screen. The A9Today (B) icon is now installed — tap it to launch.

    First-time login takes you through:

    • Username / phone number entry
    • Password
    • OTPQ verification (if you have OTPQ installed)

You're done. The app will remember your login on this device.

Troubleshooting

The download doesn't start

Make sure you're in Safari, not Chrome. Chrome on iOS can't trigger profile downloads — this is an Apple restriction, not something we can change.

I tapped Allow but don't see anything in Settings

Quit Settings completely (swipe up from the bottom and swipe Settings away), then reopen it. The Profile Downloaded entry should appear at the top.

The app shows 'Untrusted Developer' when I open it

This means the profile installed but iOS hasn't fully verified it yet. Open Settings → General → VPN & Device Management, tap the A9Today profile, then tap Trust. Open the app again — it'll work.

How do I update the app later?

When a new version is released, just visit a9playmy8.com again, tap iOS / Apple, and follow the same steps. Your account data is preserved across updates.

How to remove the app

If you ever want to remove A9Today from your iPhone:

  1. Open Settings → General → VPN & Device Management
  2. Tap the A9Today profile
  3. Tap Remove Profile
  4. Enter your passcode to confirm

The app and the profile are both removed in one action.
