OTPQ stands for One-Time Password — Quick. It's the official verification companion app for A9Play, and it handles three things:
- One-time password verification — every login, password change, or sensitive action confirms via OTPQ
- Free credit notifications — when promotions or bonuses are credited to your account
- Account alerts — login attempts, device changes, and security warnings
Why two-factor verification matters
Even the strongest password can leak. Phishing emails, fake login pages, password reuse across sites — these are the most common ways accounts get compromised. Two-factor verification adds a second wall: even if someone has your password, they can't log in without the OTPQ code on your phone.
How to install OTPQ
OTPQ is free and lightweight. Install it from the official source at otp-q.com. It takes about 90 seconds.
- Visit otp-q.com in your mobile browser
- Tap the installer for your platform (Android APK, iOS profile, or Huawei direct)
- Open the installed OTPQ app
- Link it to your A9Play account by scanning the QR code shown in your A9Play settings, or by entering your A9Play user ID
Common questions
Do I need a separate device for OTPQ?
No. OTPQ can run on the same phone as A9Today. Most users keep both apps on their primary phone. If you have a tablet or second phone, you can install OTPQ there too — codes will arrive on whichever device you have nearby.
What if I lose my phone?
OTPQ supports backup codes. When you first set up OTPQ, save the 10 backup codes shown on the setup screen. Each can be used once if you don't have access to your normal device.
Does OTPQ cost anything?
No. OTPQ is free to install and use. There are no subscription fees and no in-app purchases.
What if my OTPQ codes don't work?
The most common cause is your phone's clock being slightly off. OTPQ codes are time-based — they change every 30 seconds — so if your phone time is more than a few seconds off the actual time, codes will fail. Open your phone's Settings and enable "Set time automatically" / "Network time."
